CP for gem mining
« on: April 25, 2009, 05:37:05 PM »
Mining gems is currently a very ungrateful job! Whereas when you mine copper you can craft it into ingots and get some CP out of it, mining stones gives the miner no experience at all - and mining for gems isn't easy work!

I think that gem mining should give 1 CP; and gem cutting should give 2 CP, because right now it's extremely hard to advance in that profession!

Agreed. But all mining should give 1 CP, after all we are losing APs over it.

yes. if you are minner it would be logicly that mining gives you CP. because next tier gives you chances to get 2-5 resources. and you increase mining skill only by making coper ingots. :) not so logical.

Yes, I know of this problem, it is a technical one... It is more logical for the miner and carpenter to earn their points while acquiring the materials, since the award is being able to dig more at once... I will be looking into this problem, but no promises. (there are going to be some additional changes in crafting to tune the balance...)
