Suggestions / Change to how battle are run

Way battles are run needs to be changed so that killed monsters can not attack ,

Suggestions / storage of potions etc .

My bad if this has already be suggested.
I think that potions and food to restore spirit and HP .. should not take up one square each .. instead .. they should be stored like "light hides" are ...and grouped in relation to there +hp or spirit. this would create more room in backpack and enable us to carry more of them
any one else think the same???
