Where to get leather??

I just started this really confusing game.. and i got a quest to make simple leather gloves.. i just can't get the leather anywhere...now in my inventory i have 10 light hides, but I am a miner. so how do i get the leather?

Surely you can :) Leather is a processed material, so you need a tanner who will process the light hides and maket them into leather. You as a miner cant do it.

Then from the leather you can craft simple leather gloves as I suppose you are an armorsmith.

Well if you are not in a guild which has a tanner - yes, you have to ask someone else. The other option is to buy light leather at the auction.
