More Noob questions

Hello and this is another noob question, but don't blame me for not doing my homework:
I did search the forums back and forward, but i can't find any relevant answers.
Only place with semi-complete game mechanics info so far I found is one post in Bulgarian...

Can anyone explain to me the basics of crafting (for tavern quest)
I just reached lvl5 and crafting quests opened to me.
I did figured out how to dig for resources, but I'm requested to make "1 of Copper Plated Helmet " and I can't find where can I get the recipe to craft () them ....

Second question: How the heck people make gold   NPC buy prices are ridiculously low and npc mobs killing doesn't bring much gold ether....

there is few ways to gain recipes:
-all basic recipes tier 1 you have as gift from craft guild
-you can buy recipes in npc store with it, look in imperial city where you chose profession
-you can buy it on auctions
-you can get recipes as drop after battle

battles with people give more money than battles with animals, you can try on arena to fight with other heroes and bid some money or you can try to sell raw materials on auctions for money or diamonds

And tavern quest could ask you to make stuff which is higher tier then yours. So, that quest can not be completed.
