those are 2 different reports from 2 battles. in first one battle i used deflect arrow level 3 (35%) skill and you know what, marauder used it against me and hit me with 35% more hit points. i know programmers dont like me but why my hero's hit his skills?  ???

Well you get better defense against ranged enemies, but worse against close range weapons.
Same as melee defense with which close range hits you for less, but range hits you for more.

but this stance make me extra damage. i dont want to protection against melee but why with protection against range weapon i get extra damage with power (35%) which should protect me against range? when i have protection against melee weapon then range weapon dont make me that extra damage

Tim 2 je na potezu
stav daje 16.3243696 na 40.810924 štete.
Heretik - strijelac udara beast za 57.1352936 i njemu ostaje 2057.86 zdravlja.
Sory its in croatian, but in general i had activated melee defense and heretic archer hitted me for 16 more(40%). And marauders later hitted me for 40% less.

Because I think the description of this skill is wrong ! It says that you get "increased defense against ranged weapons", it mentions nothing about bearing increased damage by melee weapons ! If I knew that little detail I would never take this stance because its completely useless because of several reasons:

1. Archers hit for way less damage so this "increased defense" is not so useful considering that I am going to be hit way harder by monsters like marauders who have huge melee damage.

2. There are no groups of archers currently in the game - always in groups there are 2 or 3 enemies with melee damage and 1 archers. So it's totally not worth it to take this stance - you lose more than what you gain ...

Robber successfully uses the skill Ambush.
stance adds 16.250955 to 46.4313 damage.

stance reduces damage taken, which is 2.72343 with 0.9532005.


You can see clearly - I save 1 HP for using my great stance and I lose 16 HP. Now, let me do the math...should I use this stance ?

thats why i put it in bugs, but if this is no bug then please move this topic to questions or general talk. i think this is useless and only fight with other heroes in arena this can be used 8)

Well, I dont think the way the stance works is a bug, but the description is surely wrong because it only says half of what the stance does ! So I would like an official position about what it REALLY does before we can figure out if its a bug or not ....

The official position is that the Deflect arrows skill increases the defense against ranged weapons, but decreases the defense against close-ranged weapons.

The skill description will be fixed.
