Swiftness skill

Hi, does anyone know details and inner logic of "Swiftness" skill? From what I see - it reduces my damage by 50% when I fight a pack of wolves. That is too good a skill it seems, I want it too  :D

Team 1 takes turn
Attack Stance stance adds 8.1459 to 58.185 damage.
The Swiftness skill reduces damage taken, which is 33.16545 with 66.3309.
Dukatto_miner hits Grey wolf for 33.16545 and the latter is left with 97.53 health.

Yeah, I'm the first in line to become a werewolf once such a feat is implemented  :D
But back to the topic. The wolfie had swiftness lvl2 only and he reduced my damage by 50% every bleeding round!
Could it be related to the type of weapon I have? I'm weilding a hammer class. (I didn't notice such effects when fighting against wolves with my mystic hero with a staff)

Oh, I've found the answer  :)
Swiftness - Decreases all blunt weapons' effectiveness with 25% per skill level. Blunt weapons are: Maces, War Hammers and Staffs.

Kind of overpowered skill. If the wolf has Swiftness lvl4 I will not score any damage with the hammer.
