Questions / More Noob questions

Hello and this is another noob question, but don't blame me for not doing my homework:
I did search the forums back and forward, but i can't find any relevant answers.
Only place with semi-complete game mechanics info so far I found is one post in Bulgarian...
Can anyone explain to me the basics of crafting (for tavern quest)
I just reached lvl5 and crafting quests opened to me.
I did figured out how to dig for resources, but I'm requested to make "1 of Copper Plated Helmet " and I can't find where can I get the recipe to craft (
) them ....
Second question: How the heck people make gold NPC buy prices are ridiculously low and npc mobs killing doesn't bring much gold ether....
