I have a level 16 tanner, and I just fought 12 battles in a row in the den (Hope Village Plains) against 2 wolves each time, and received no light hides.

I would like to know one thing: Why is the drop chance reduced as you go up in level?

Other occupations aren't hindered in this way.  Carpenters and Miners can in fact dig for Tier 1 products in Tier 2 provinces, and often get the bonus of 2-5 per dig rather than 2-4.  So while it becomes impossible for higher level tanners, it becomes easier for higher level carpenters and miners.

I understand why you can't get light hides in tier 2 provinces, but reducing the hides captured on top of that is excessive.

Is there a good reason for this additional burden to be placed on tanners but not others?

I am thoroughly frustrated with this game.

As I stated in my original post, there was over 950 remaining.  After getting 0, I dug a 3rd time using the +25% (x2) multiplier, and received 2.  So, no, it wasn't because the resource had run out.

When I have the time, I'll go back and try again with it set to +0%.

Here is something I experienced:

I was digging (?) for Ash in a Tier 2 province.  The likelihood was listed as "Certain" and the amount 2-4.

I'm really not sure exactly what the multiplier does, so I decided to play with it.

First, I chose x8 (+75%), and got 4.  Not sure what kind of effect the x8 had.

Next, I chose x1 (+0%), and got 0.  Okay, this seems pretty clear: rather than adding +0%, I was given a 0% chance because I didn't want to take longer digging.  This doesn't make any sense, as the probability listed for the area was "Certain", and the amount available was about 950.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
