Bugs / level up not giving me points

I leveled up to 2nd level and I am doing the tutorial and it says put 5 points in vitality and I received no points for leveling up.

I have hunted and hunted and hunted some more for the answer to this question.  I haven't played in so long and I am thinking about starting over with a new character.

I've been having problems with that too.   Also why is it I can find all kinds of dropped items and hides but when I go on quest it takes me many days just to find just 5 or 6?  I am doing simple leather armor quest and out of 50 battles I have found 4 hides.  that is ridiculous.  Especially when I battle normally without quests and get at least 1 out of 4 battles at the minimum.  Does ratios drop for quests?

my profession is armorsmith.  So I can't mine for ore?  What about recipes?  I see I can get a bronze ore recipe but it says tier level is higher than your own.  So I should be able to mine ore shouldn't I?

I have tried everything I can think of and looked for everything I can think of and I can't find where/how you can mine ore.  I am a level 13 ranger and I want to start doing round shields and armor.

I have tried all these thing and still cannot put stuff in cache.  I am doing a quest that requires 8 leather hides and I can't complete it cause they are not in my inventory but between my character and house.
