Questions / Re: What's up with the speed?
« on: August 22, 2011, 05:12:07 PM »
I installed once again. I think last time I made the mistake of only uninstalling the player not the plugin. It seems to be working full speed again! Before, a single blow in combat would take about 30 seconds at any speed, now it's back to multiple blows in a fraction of a second, so I think I did it right this time. Thanks once again for your help maeof :)

Meh, the game is still really slow. Maybe I didn't install properly or something. I'll have to try again, but I can't be bothered tonight.

Do you happen to know of a PD program which can unzip a .zip file? The earlier flash version is in zip format and Winzip wants me to pay $30 for the upgrade.

Aha, that is the problem :) I installed the latest version of Flash yesterday.

The game seems to be working okay this morning, did you fix the problems yet? Otherwise, is it possible to deinstall the latest version of Flash and go back to an earlier version until you fix it?

I'm using Firefox 5. Haven't upgraded to FF 6 yet but it only came out a couple of days ago.

I think it has to be the game. Everything else on my PC is running fine. In fact, last time I tried to log in, all I got was a blank screen and a message which said "url not found on this server". I've logged in again now, but the game is still too slow to play. I've been playing several weeks now and haven't had this problem before.

The game has slowed to a crawl on my PC today. The stores are loading so slowly I've had to quit playing. Is anyone else having similar problems?

Oh is that why it happened, thanks :)

The Red Hand boss was still too powerful anyhow. Back to the store for better weapons!  ;)

Um, sorry, the small what in the hero menu?

Ah, I see it now, it's the little "Engage" button. I guess the game must have reset the buttons for some reason. Thanks for your help :)

Questions / Where the heck are my mercenaries?
« on: August 16, 2011, 12:29:09 PM »
I spent the last two weeks trying to save enough from working in the taverns to get a bunch of health potions to get through Redhandbase. I tried three times to beat it and got beat on level 10 each time, until I decided it was too tough and I'd have to beat some other dungeons instead.

Then I worked out I could make money a lot quicker by selling resources on the market - but then much quicker still by selling diamonds! So I paid for some diamonds and sold them on the market for over a million gold, then spent all day marching around the various localities getting the best equipment for my hero and his mercenaries, and then went back to Redhandbase to finally beat it. Only one problem. My mercenaries have disappeared! They are with me when I'm in town, but when I get to Redhandbase there is only my hero, no mercenaries in sight. Can someone please tell me what happened to my mercenaries? Because there is no way I am going to beat this dungeon without them, thanks.
