Questions / Re: Action points

100 max accumulating AP, e.g. over 100 is when you've earned by some other mean (buy, reward...)
1 AP per 15 min.

This is the short explaination

4) guardian skill "leadership" doesn't increase mana by 24%.
somehow this prevents the perpetuum mobile and as far as I've observed there is no skill increasing the spirit.

well, at least my guild forum works as expected. may be it's a temporary problem, correlating with the fact the guild screen is no more, but the guild window instead.

Questions / Re: Snow Guardians Fort

Boss is a little weaker, you can go though it is not easy *bravo*
I can confirm that! With a larger pool of mercs and the ability to disble some of their skills (let's say voley or whirwind) I've managed to pass this step.

Questions / Re: Which Ranger specialization is better?
« on: April 16, 2011, 02:03:24 PM »
It's almost the same. If you're goin' the stalker way some bosses will be easier then other, and aproximately the opossite for the hunter. After all it's not a lifetime decision as the game is flexible enough (at least in this manner) so you can change your specialty whenever you want. you can't only change the class of the hero, i.e. to became a warrior or mistic. At the upper tiers redistribution of the skills point, thus rechoosing the specialty, is a common trick. So, my advice is to take whatever your gut say.
Also keep in mind gaining exp. for different weapons. This can add up to 22% boost to the damage you deal. Sometimes this little bits make the big difference when you're in front of the legendary or epic leader.

Bugs / Re: Blood Land quest dissapear

The Blood Land's quest has been changed enter level - now is 55. Go grind some more pirates or such, and go back to Everwhite's tavern after level up. Your mercs' levels have nothing to do with quests - only your level matters.

Questions / Re: storyline problem plus...
« on: February 27, 2011, 09:29:26 PM »
Frankly to say I's not a rare situation when you hit the wall with some step of the quests. You don't want to hear me swearing on the N-th loss from a given BOSSSSS!!! Nevertheless sometimes the victory comes just by a thread. Ohoouuieeeee... that makes my day. I can't remember how much I'd drunken after a glorious hunt of the epic mammoth in Eternia! This beast costs me literally a millions for repair and equipping of mercs... not to mention the low moral after so much defeats.

I'm just trying to cheer you - the purpose of the quests is to make you find your way to the victory... or build your own way!
With my bad luck one of my tasks was to dig 71 palladium ore... believe me, it took me almost six days, including buying of extra AP... such of waste, but I wanted that epic craft hammer so bad.

Questions / Re: Craft Master
« on: February 20, 2011, 11:18:30 AM »
Each item you craft adds some crafting points to your total. When you reach 100 crafting points on a tier, the next tier is unlocked, provided your hero is eligible for that (for example, if you are level 18 and reach 100 crafting on tier 2, you'll have to also reach level 20 for tier 3 crafting to be unlocked). After reaching 200 crafting points on a tier, you unlock the chance to create rare (blue) items. Now only crafting attempts that result in blue items will reward you crafting points. At 300 points you unlock legendary (yellow) chances. Now only crafting attempts that result in yellow items will reward you crafting points. At 400 points you unlock epic (purple) chances. No more crafting points for you in this tier.

You can find a complete guide here.
You're almost right... the only change here is that reaching 100 pts unlocks the chance for Exceptional items.
the guide is currently outdated - I hope they'll fix it.
There are other changes in terms of qualities of the different crafted items and the reduced base chances to craft.

For the most of things I'm totally agreed with you. There is only one thing I can't accept: your statement about the severity of the penalty.
On my opinion it was just as bad as what they did. May be you're taking an account the amount of punished players, but the amount of affected players can be vast. Look at that scenario: one guild started to rise in power by the superiority of it's equipment. The guild conquers all the castles and all other players has to pay them. In 4 and 5 Tier you have some choice, but for 6 Tier there is no shops outside the No Man's Land's towns. Not to mention the terror that guild is capable to apply to all in any battle zone.
The yellow and purple recipes obviously are designed to be unique (legendary costs a 50 to 60 diamonds, epic a just a global drop)... just a few players to vaunt about... not to craft an epic sets from them. This shifts the entire balance of the game play.
In the real world you can produce and sell drugs... witch you know is illegal. The government can't stop you from doing that - it can only punish you IF the DEA (or whatever agency) catches you. In games in general (not only in IH) exploiting the bugs is prohibited as this breaks the balance and makes the world unfair. The real world is unfair by default, so may be that's so many people are playing games.
I hope the example of the last punishment will last enough to prevent new exploiting of other bugs in the near future. The far future is too far to remember    :)

One more thing - the breakage of this beautiful IH world from the crew definitely deserves if not punishment (as we can't see that) at least some refund or something like.
