General Talk / DualWield

I just noticed what seems to be a misconception regarding DualWield specialization.
It has prerequisites - to reach lvl7 proficiency in following weapons: warhammer, pike, axe and two-hand sword. Please note, those are all two-hand weapons.
Now the DualWield specalization is focusing on fighting with two one-hand weapons simultaneously. Why the heck do we need to be proficient in all two-hand weapons if later on the hero will use only one-hand weapons?
I think prerequisits should be changed in the following way: the hero must be proficient with one-hand weapons instead of 2H as it is now.
Also, why require to be proficient in all weapons? One should be enough, why does the hero need to be proficcient with e.g maces if he's gonna use only swords?

If you agree please move this to suggestions or bugs - I don't know which is better.

Bugs / Negative APs

I was fighting in the multistage dungeon in Haroda. The one where wolves lurk. I had to kill a couple of alpha wolves for the storyline quest.
At one moment I noticed ере it is saying I have no more APs. What is strange is that AP counter shows now (-2) AP, negative value :)
I'd insert screenshot but I do not see an option to upload it here

Quests Step 1/10
Story Line Quest 1: Down with the Hills

"...I need wolf pelts as soon as possible! Five of them, to be exact!’ Markal makes a long pause.
‘Say... You look like the right person for the job! Can you do it? Go to Dawn Hills and hunt five small gray wolves. Return to me when you’re done and I’ll pay you generously!’

Task: Kill 2 Small grey wolf in Dawn Hills and return to Markal for your reward."

1. How many should I kill 5 or 2? Please correct the text or the task.
2. Will I lose hides or not? The story implies that I will, but the task says nothing about giving hides to the bartender...

Questions / New excavation time rules

Ie: If to the area in which you want to dig, you go to 3:30 minutes in her time digging at 1 resource number will take 1:45 minutes.

Excavation rule applies to both hazardous and safe areas.<<

Sorry, but where is the logic here? Why should digging take longer depending on the distance traveled to the digging site? I propose to make it static. And decrease the amount of time needed to say 1 minute. It was unreasonably annoyingly long lately...

Suggestions / Implement attribute requirements for all Items

To make the game and classes more balanced I suggest to add attribute requirements to all items. And not only 1 attribute per item, better to have several requirements. This way pplayrs will have to create more well-rounded character. Cause now it is a bit off scale - people tend to increase only 2 major skills with the rare exceptions and are really weak in the other attributes.
For example:
Body Armor - requires 25 str
Boots - str 5, agi - 15
Gloves - str 5, dex 15
Rings - int 10
Hammer - str 20
Sword - str 15, dex 10
Bow - str 10, dex 10, agi 15

This is just an exaple. All the numbers need to be carefully tested in the PvP sandbox. Cheers  ;)

Questions / Swiftness skill

Hi, does anyone know details and inner logic of "Swiftness" skill? From what I see - it reduces my damage by 50% when I fight a pack of wolves. That is too good a skill it seems, I want it too  :D

Team 1 takes turn
Attack Stance stance adds 8.1459 to 58.185 damage.
The Swiftness skill reduces damage taken, which is 33.16545 with 66.3309.
Dukatto_miner hits Grey wolf for 33.16545 and the latter is left with 97.53 health.

Suggestions / Charge

I think warrior's Charge skill is quite useless and peole are regretting the points spent after they leave Tier1.
It give additional damage (in the 1st attack only) with the maximum of 20 damage. It matters only in the 1st Tier. Above, this 1 time 20 damage bonus becomes ridiculously small, negligible value.

So, I suggest to make it in percentage of the damage dealt and use multiplier similar to critical hits. So the 1st hit will be 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or so.. stronger than normal hit. Values need to be played around to get the feeling which are right

Suggestions / Password change notification

Please stop showing that annoying password change notification each time I log in. I do not want to change my password, at least for beta realm.
I think if user discarded this dialog box once or twice he should not see it automatically appear anymore. User can always change the password to stronger one via the Settings menu.

Bugs / Hides did not appear in the cache

Ingame name Dukatto.
Today (12 Oct 2009) at ~10:40 GMT+2 I fought in the Ursalia, got more than 10 hides alltogether. All of them were said to be placed in my cache cause I had no space in the inventory.
After returning back to the Farolin town I checked my cache and it was empty!!! Where are my hides?  :o

Bugs / Resourses automatic stacking

Now the game places resources in different inventory slots each time I get some during the fight. It is only logical to stack them together with the same kind.
Example: I have 12 medium hides in my inventory and 1 more empty space. I fight and win 1 more medium hide - it goes to my last empty space in the inventory. I fight again and win one more medium hide - this time it goes to my cache. An so on.
Why don't we place all the hides I won to the existing pile??

Suggestions / Experience for the arena battles

I suggest to add experience for the arena battles. This way people who do not like to fight monsters can earn their living and grow in leveles just fighting in the arena.
This will make it more popular cause now arena is not too crowded  *hihi*

Suggestions / Extend Offer Fee

Since new extend offer fee was introduced seller pays 2% of the BuyNow price when putting an item for sale. This fee does not change whether offer is made for 2,8 or 24 hours. BUT! when seller wants to extend the offer he has to pay the fee once more. This makes offering items for 2 and 8 hours useless. Because offering for 24 hours costs the same fee and you don't have to spend additional money to extend the offer.
So I suggest to remove the fee for extending the offer to make 2 and 8 hours offers viable options again.

Questions / No more selling for diamonds

It seems that after we've got gold-diamond market we can no longer sell items for diamonds directly. At least now I can sell my craft only for gold.
Is it new feature or a bug?  ???

Bugs / Negative time in Auction

Just now I noticed that some auction items do not disappear after the 0 "time left" is reached. Timer shows negative values.

Bugs / Crafting time multiplier

There is a bug with the crafting time multiplier
When I am crafting more than 5 hides at once and set multiplier to maximum it resets to minimum after the 1st batch (5 hides) were processed.
Example: I craft 10hides, basic 2x chance is 7%. Setting multiplier to maximum increases the chance to 10%.
I lof ogg. After ~1 hr 6minutes passes first 5 hides should be processed (1 action point). I log back on and see that crafting is in progress but 2x crafting chance is showing only 7%.
