I worked with programming before. How does a program 'fix itself' unless it is using random variables like Math.random? This explanation doesn't explain anything.
At least fix the visual bug?

Bugs / Tavern quests of Infinity?
« on: December 16, 2009, 04:32:09 PM »
This scenario occurred with other tavern tasks. Notice that the tasks do not show what item to craft. I know it is copper dagger because I remember so but when I crafted one, the task does not progress!

SOS!

Story Line Quests / Re: Missing diamonds
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:38:56 AM »
Yes, I noticed some time last week that ALL diamond rewards are removed from storyline quests. This applied to storylines from tier 2 and up.

Strange. Is it another move of oppression of f2p players ( :D joking) or a bug or just 'tweeking' to make the game fairer (don't see how it is)?

Maybe more gold or better items should be given to compensate new users to balance the game so that old players don't get off the hook with the diamonds where new people don't get any. ???

What's the issue here? Viewing a whole battle report is a tiny bit tiresome.

What do you mean with "Boots Strength +4, Dexterity +5" at the end? Is that from an item?

I have a question as to how this "No." worked.
The more crafting exp, tier, reputation, level, and combat exp, the higher your ranking right?
Does "No." even mean ranking?
When you move your cursor over the number, what do those "-###" or "+###" mean?

Well sorry for being a good bussiness-man and an opportunist.

If you click on a 'moonstone cloak recipe', only moonstone cloak recipes will be shown, not heavy cloaks or anything else.

Ermm.. That's what I said.

I agree with radoo. Looking through all the tier 2 recipes are a pain. What if I just wanted lvl 18 recipes (gemmed ones)? I have to look through everything because not all the gemmed ones are on the same page.
If I was to click on one of the recipes, it shows only that recipe. That's not particularly helpful for price-comparing with other gemmed recipes.

That's what I thought too. This bug should be fixed.

By the way, I sold the Simple leather boots recipe at auctions for 12,000 gold just for fun.
Since it was the only tier 1 recipe on sale, I figured an outrageous price was ok.
It was.
Lol, go figure.

Some poor noobie out there must be so pissed for buying a useless, backpack space consuming bug for 12k.
 :D

Even though 12k is good money, I do feel sorry for the poor idi*t. Can people fix this bug up so a scam war doesn't start?

Equipment / Tier 1 Recipes ? !

I killed Rolon and guess what I got.

1x Simple leather boots recipe (tier 1)
1x Simple leather cape recipe (tier 1)

So... ermm what do I do with these?

I tried giving them to an armor-smith. The game says the person knows the recipe already.
Tries force-feeding it just for fun. Nothing interesting happens.

I tried giving them to a weapon-smith. It's not his profession but guess what, I force feed it just-for-fun, again. I didn't get it back and it disappears forever!

Well, its gone now. Tough.  :(

But there's still a problem. WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS RECIPE?!  *SHOUT*

I have had this bug before. But for some reason, it doesn't happen everytime I craft that way.

Questions / Re: Tanner
« on: December 09, 2009, 11:56:44 AM »
I understand why you can't get light hides in tier 2 provinces, but reducing the hides captured on top of that is excessive.

Is there a good reason for this additional burden to be placed on tanners but not others?

I am thoroughly frustrated with this game.

I totally second that. If this game aims to have a semi-realistic feel to it as it says on the homepage, why not make the game the way the introduction says so?
Another thought is when the hero becomes more experienced, they can gather more of the same ingredient with every attempt. This applies to every occupation EXCEPT the tanner.

Comparison.
As the tier of the province increases, it yields better ingredients. All occupations are the same.
TRUE

Attempts to get ingredients cost the same amounts of AP. For wood and ore, the chances are determined by the location while its the type of animal and its level for hide.
TRUE

All ingredients require processing. All occupations are the same.
TRUE

Tanners have less chance of getting light hides as their level increases.
TRUE
This goes for Miners and Carpenters as well as they have less chance of getting copper, coal, soft stone, oak as their level increases.
NOT TRUE!

Isn't it more logical and realistic that as you get more experienced, getting lower level/difficulty ingredients become easier? and I have no idea why this penalty only applies for tanners. Funny thing is that many armor and even weapon requires leather despite it being currently the most unworthy profession.

Processing bars require more than one type of ingredient.
TRUE
Processing wood require more than one type of ingredient.
NOT TRUE!
Processing leather require more than one type of ingredient.
NOT TRUE!

Carpenters get the same benefit as tanners here but they don't receive the same penalties.

Care to explain the programmers' logic and how this possibly could 'balance' the game?

Heroes / No light hides for non tier 1 heros?
« on: December 05, 2009, 09:13:21 AM »
Is it true that you cannot get light hides if you are not a tanner (duh..) and not tier 1???

I completed the storyline in hopes village by killing Rolon's brother in the multistage even though I was tier 2. So tier >1 tanners can attack but don't recieve hides? is that it?
