 I can't help the feeling that this change is provoked by me posting NMNM's combat logs. Given the timing and all.
 Fact (yes, fact) is however, I am sure soloing dungeons as a manner of leveling up isn't something new in the office. Since there are people in Deathstyle that volleyed their way through Tier 5. Solo, obviously. Now all of a sudden that becoming undesirable . Like I said, disappointing.
 
P.S.

Ironically I saved AP's on NMNM thinking I would get more experience since the zone changed from white to yellow. Guess I made the wrong choice, huh ?

Why ? I mean mercenaries are a tool. Why forcing me to use them ? Why preventing players from going faster through content ? Why basically penalizing the players that know the game/work for their gear and are able to solo hard fights ? I mean after all the artificial, rule bending, obstacles now this... Kind of disappointing. To say the least.

That brings the question "How does one upgrade his mercenaries to Tier 6" ? Or do they remain in Tier 5 and they just level up ? I've already seen level 50 Mercenaries on Realm 3, that's why I'm asking.

If the level requirement will be removed then the players won't have to level up, actually. : ) They will be able to use the crafting set of their tier (and/or lower tier) regardless of their level.

 As for people saying things before the patch I did asked "what mercenaries ?" in another post and I got no answer. Now, as we can see, there is no place where you can hire Tier 6 mercenaries. Yes, I know, you can build taverns and healers in the Castle but, as I see it, after you take a Tier 6 castle there isn't much to do as far as difficulty of the encounters go. So hire Tier 6 mercenaries for what after you got the castle ?

Quick question. Is the rule saying that you can't attack the castle of Tier X if your level is outside the tier still valid  ?(i.e. You can't participate in a Tier 5 castle assault at level 50 ). Thanks.

Judith please don't get angry at me. My opinion on this was the same two weeks ago but I didn't really cared for two reasons. One I was level 45  or close already on my main character and the secondly the only crafting set I managed to get to 5/5 is Tier 3 so basically I didn't had a problem. On my other characters I don't craft that much and on top of that they also have Tier 3 crafting sets.

My bulgarian is really bad but I think he means the level requirement will be removed. So the whole thing is solved.

I have to disagree on this one. You can't equip the crafting gear and stay like that because it was announced prior to the date Judith. The crafting set will give you next to nothing as far as fighting goes. Getting a few pieces of the said set is troublesome enough, really. You guys should just remove the level requirement on it or change it to x4. The only reason the new rule is in place (two sub-tiers) is that content gets a bit more difficult for people new in tier. That isn't in discussion here. The guy got some parts from the crafter set and he wants to use them at crafting. Not defeating monsters.

As the title says it.

EDIT: Second problem is that they can be healed in a tier 5 shop.


1. Since you can't hire Tier 6 mercs anywhere that makes sense if you want them to level up beyond 49.
2. You'd like them dead until someone takes on a castle and builds a Tier 6 healer ?

Ophalia seems fine on Chrome and Firefox on both NMNM and DMDM. Can't see tools in Imperial City and Everwhite on DMDM and only in Imperial City on NMNM. Realm 3, under Chrome and Firefox.

Actually my strength on the paper doll it's 347.5 so after the opponent's Battle Shout it's 319.7. But it's shown in battle, for some strange reason, as 260. So... The Barbarian Sword-Warrior should have 8 or so parry if 10 points of strength decreases the parry with 1 point and there is no limitation to that. Instead of 29.64. Quite a difference.

P.S.

The dungeon in question is "Cold Desert" in "Everwhite" but I don't think it's (was) dungeon related.

I am now 150% sure it isn't a hidden parry. As you can see the one not getting hit (ignored) in this log it's an Barbarian Axe-Warrior which can't parry. You can also see the Barbarian Sword-Warrior's parry rating at 29.64 when it parries in the first round

Yes you will get a chance to choose a new profession. As for useful skills to offer I can't give you any advice as far as main profession goes. As a secondary profession you can't go wrong with mining because metals are used in all professions, hence in great demand. You can keep armourer and pick up mining as a secondary. That way you won't lose any progress you made thus far in the armourer business.
