I'm not gonna lie if I say I've now used 100 ap (i'm premium) for crafting and I haven't done any critical crafts yet. That's 14% chance of critical craft my a$$.

You simply have bad luck, the crafting is working normally. You will have good days too and then I bet you wont be on the forum complaining that you crafted 10 rare items in a row  ;)
