Can i disband mecenary?

can i disband mercenary i already have, in order to have the same with mith big level ?

I know that you can, but I don't know how. What I know is that you must unequip them. Every armour or weapon on them must come off first.

Click on hero menu, then on merc you want to get rid off. Do what 50rin wrote and then click on "Dismiss mercenary" button. You cant miss it. It's a big flashy brown one in the lower right corner of the merc menu. Mission accomplished.
