To clarify the crafting mechanics:
1. When you reach 100 Crafting Points in both your professions, you open the next Tier of recipes.
2. When you reach 200 Crafting Points in a certain profession Tier, you will receive a constant 4% chance to craft not common, but a rare item.
3. When you reach 300 Crafting Points in a certain profession Tier, you will receive a constant 4% chance to craft a rare item and 2% chance to craft a legendary item.
4. When you reach 400 Crafting Points in a certain profession Tier, you will receive a constant 4% chance to craft a rare item, 2% to craft a legendary item and 1% to craft an epic item.
However, you will not be able to get a crafting chance for epic items in Tier 1 of your professions.
5. Using a crafting tool (Smith's Hammer, Tanner's Kit, Carpenter's Kit, Jeweler's Kit) adds additional crafting chance bonus to the base one.
However, the crafting tools that give additional crafting chances, are obtained from Tier 2 and above.
Example:
- If you have 201 Crafting Points in Armorsmith, you gain a constant 4% chance for crafting Tier 1 rare item. Using a Bronze Smith's Hammer/Bronze Tanner's Kit/Bronze Carpenter's Kit/Bronze Jeweler's Kit adds additional 2% chance for crafting a rare item. Ergo -> 6% chance for crafting a rare item.
- If you have 301 Crafting Points in Armorsmith Tier 1, you gain a constant 4% chance for crafting Tier 1 rare item and 2% constant chance for crafting Tier 1 legendary item. Using a Bronze Smith's Hammer/Bronze Tanner's Kit/Bronze Carpenter's Kit/Bronze Jeweler's Kit adds additional 2% chance for crafting a rare item and then this chance is divided by 2. Ergo -> 6% chance for crafting Tier 1 rare item and 3% chance for crafting Tier 1 legendary item.
And so on.
