Reset skill

What will happen to my mercenarys if i reset skills?

Fore example, i have 2 points in mercenary captain, if i reset my skill points, and put back 2 points in captain ,will i get to choose my old mercenarys with old equipment?

You won't lose your mercs, so go for it if you need to :)
