Is there a  place one can post the places where players can find each resources? For example, where can one get leather from?

Leather can be found only by killing animals and then skinning them...woods are gather from forests, etc.
When you choose a dungeon you are able to see what resources can your hero gather.
All tier 2 and above province have limited resources, and the refill happens every 24 hours...

Just a correction, it is hides that are skinned from animals, and they are processed in leather. (English to Greek translation and vice versa can be a bit tricky... :D *hihi*)

You can "learn" skinning animals if you have the proffesion tanner. If you have some hides, click on "crafting" ,then "tanner"  and it shows you there more.

Do not let someone do one mistake...And if you read his question you will understand why is not translation issue... :P
