New Mystic skills

Mystics used to have Inner Spirit; in fact I hired a mercenary specifically for this buff. Now they have Fountain of spirit instead, which boosts their spirit regeneration. My question is, how is that in any way useful to have a Merc with this skill, when they don't even have anything to spend the spirit on??

Not one of the better moves, I'm afraid. I thought the skills were balanced before; I didn't see any glaring need for a change  :(

I think the Fountain of spirit is a way to maybe equate to skills which the Ranger has (like herbalism which restores points) and the Warrior's vitality which allows him to recover a lot of health. Still, I agree with you that the skill which allowed mystics to buff others was really nice...

Actually, shouldn't this Fountain of spirit be more useful in LATER stages, when you are supposed to have more spells (buffs&curses) to cast than in the beginning (so you will need batter mana regeneration). Isolde has a point too, because some battles are exhausting and you don't stand great chances untill it is replenished. However, I am more in favour of the idea that in order to need faster spirit regeneration, one player should also have where to use-up the spirit first.

The Inner Spirit has moved for specialization after level 15 (so it has not disappeared) and the Fountain of spirit and Herbalism have moved from after level 15 to the beginning. The reason for the change is that in the beginning the Mystic is counting much more on healing and running out of Spirit is a great problem. There has to be a choice between those and it seems in the beginning it is more valuable to have these two skills than the other.

we should have our Skill Points reset, and be able to alocate them again  ::)
