Merc Level-Up?

My merc gained Level 8. How to choose which skills & attributes he will gain? I didn't found any "level up" button for him.

Mercenaries dont get new/additional skills as heroes /or upgrade existed btw/. They get automatic attribute points distribution, when they level-up.

But HOW do they distribute the points? Why I don't even get a report that some stats were increased?

Check their points before and after level-up The process is automatic as I wrote. Generally speaking they get 1 point for each attribute per level, some even 3 points for certain attribute.

You can calculate which attribured will be improved the most at every level up before you even buy the mercenary.

Just divide each of their attributes (without items) by their level. That's how many points they will gain at each attribute every level up. I've seen from 1 up to 5 points per level.

Skills don't get improved by levels, that's why generally you'll need a new set of mercenaries in every tier.
