in the link above, Oton writes:
7. Guards will be trained in a special building in the Guild HQ, where, after a payment is made, they can be upgraded. Upgrading their Tier will not be allowed.

I haven't seen an option to upgrade guards... where is it?

I think that to update them, before you get to the level of the next order.
