i'm  a ranger and if i use a dagger then i need the dexterity??? i mean the dexterity is for precision(bows. javelins, throwing knifes) because they hit from distance, so the dexterity is any use in daggers?

dexterity gives you chance for critical hits

You need it for daggers too because you get a chance for critical hits. Why would you use a dagger as a ranger?

You need dexterity for any weapon, it increases your chance to hit the enemy and for every 10 points of dexterity you have 1 % greater chance to do a critical hit.
