Is it possible to choose a default stance?
Kind of annoying to have to choose my stance before each and every combat.

Nope I don`t think it`s possible. Besides is it that hard?

Hard? no.
But it's also not that hard to code a default mode.
Doesn't even need a database entry if you make it default to the higher leveled skill, or even just make it default automatically to Attack Stance.

The point is that there's no benefit to going without a stance, so why is that option even there?

you have no right. there are benefits to go fight without any stances but you didnt found it yet and you dont know game mechanics. i know there is no wrote on forum about stances, about they benefits and losses and this is no needed. you can all see in battle reports. i can tell you that go to battle without any stances can be profitable

I'm sorry if I offended you, although I honestly have no idea why I did.

If there is a benefit to not using a stance that I haven't seen yet, then I stand corrected.

However, I would still like to see the possibility to choose a default stance.

Stances are useful indeed, see what they do, there's no need to be posted here. See in game. Attack Stance increases damage so it's good for quick kill (or at least try it   ) while Defensive Stance helps you prevent damage, and so, take less damage (good vs foes of higher level). Right?
