Attacked in a multy stage dungeon

I have been attacked in a multy stage dungeon by another player, from what I know it should not be possible.

I don't even have the "heroes" list in that dungeon.

Character: Wuxing

Dungeon: Zanne spelndenti - Barren Rocks province

Combat message:

"Sei stato attaccato da askoposko.Hai perso ed hai perso 135 oro."

You can be attacked in any location of the map if someone entered the Challenge section. This does not mean you have actually been attacked by another hero in that dungeon where you should of lost 10% of your gold, 10 durability and all of your mercs.

I had very few gols (that is the reason why I have lost so little), my mercs were killed and I was brought to 0 hp.

It was not a challenge but a attack by another hero.

BTW, if you lose a challenge you lose reputation. You see a loss of reputation in that message?

it was italian..but,will i loose my mercs if i loose? or they will die?

The mercs go to 0 hp.

You only need to get to a healer (of the right level) and pay for the ressurection.
