merc equipment

When I try to equip my merc it keeps saying:
 "You cannot equip this hero with this item, because it is bound to someone else."
Why is that?

The item has been already used in a battle by someone else. Now it only can be worn by the same person or sold in a shop (cannot be auctioned or worn by other people). This was one of the initial ideas of the game mechanics, but they implemented it before only several days.

It doesnt SUCK, its a way for the crafters to gain even more power If you need new merc items, they will make you some
