This guide contains all tips and problems considering crafting in the Ayarr Empire and it's absolutely necessary for the beginners, as well as for the masters of crafting.
1. General conditions of crafting
- Crafters in Imperial Hero are: Armorsmith, Weaponsmith and Jeweller (for now). These are the Main professions.
- Since crafting recipes of each item in the Ayarr Empire require crafted materials, hero must choose a secondary (or a processing) profession which allows him to find raw materials (resources) and process them into ingredients which are necessary for crafting items.
- Each item that the hero wants to craft, requires a recipe which he must learn, as well as crafted materials (ingredients) and also a certain Crafting Tier.
- For each crafted item the hero receives "Crafting Points" in the relevant Tier. However, there are some requirements for the CP (crafting points) collecting which we will look at later.
- The Crafting Tiers in IH are 5 (for now).
- Hero can choose a main and a secondary professions, when he reaches level 5. Then he must go to Imperial City - The capital of the Ayarr Empire, and visit the Crafting shop, where he chooses his professions.
- When chosing a profession, the hero receives a Crafting book as a gift, in which he can "write" all the recipes he has found, bought, or traded with other heroes. These recipes must be relevant to his profession, of course.
For example, if your hero is a Weaponsmith, he won't be able to learn a recipe for Armorsmith.
- After he has learned his professions, hero can start crafting Tier 1 items, because all the Tier 1 recipes are written to his Crafting book as a gift as well.
- In order to craft items of higher Tiers (2, 3, 4 and 5), the hero must have several requirements which we will look at in further.
2. Crafting Mastery
- The crafter tries to improve his Crafting art and to create more quality items. In Imperial Hero world crafting mastery means a chance of creating rare, legendary and epic items - way more powerful and mighty versions of the regular ones. These craftings we call "critical".
- The basic critical craft chances in Imperial Hero are:
Rare: 4%
Legendary: 2%
Epic: 1%
- This applies for the basic chances to process resources in the secondary professions, but mastery bonus here is mostly like a multiplier for bigger quantity crafted materials or as it follows:
Х2 processed materials: 4%
Х3 processed materials: 2%
Х4 processed materials: 1%
Meaning: When you process 1 raw material, you have 4 % chance to gather 2 processed materials.
Reaching a level in crafting isn't very easy and it requires lots of time and work. But usually it's worth it.
- In order to craft items from the next Crafting Tier, the artisan (crafter) must have 100 CP in the previous Tier, and also to reach the next Tier as levels.
Example: If you want to craft a Tier 2 item, you must have 100 CP in Crafting Tier 1 and your hero must be at least level 10 (Tier 2).
- After you have reached 200 Crafting Points in the relevant Tier, you are allowed to improve your craft skill in this tier, meaning - you now have a chance to craft a "rare" version of a certain item. It's important to know that after you've reached 200 CP you'll receive points in the same tier only for critical crafts. The same applies for secondary occupations - after 200 CP you receive points only for "critical" resource processing.
- In the world of Imperial Hero there are different kinds of crafting sets and tools, which increase critical craft chances, as well as the critical processing chances of the raw materials.
3. Crafting points, Tiers and Mastery for the Main Professions
Tier 1
- 0 to 200 crafting points can be earned.
- Reaching 100 CP unlocks Tier 2.
- Upon reaching 200 CP the crafter receives 4% base chance to produce rare items.
Tier 2
- 0 to 300 crafting points can be earned.
- Reaching 100 CP unlocks the next crafting Tier - Tier 3.
- Upon reaching 200 CP the crafter receives 4% base chance to produce rare items.
- Upon reaching 300 CP the crafter receives 2% base chance to produce legendary items.
Tier 3
- 0 to 400 crafting points can be earned.
- Reaching 100 CP unlocks Tier 4.
- Upon reaching 200 CP the crafter receives 4% base chance to produce rare items.
- Upon reaching 300 CP the crafter receives 2% base chance to produce legendary items.
- Upon reaching 400 CP the crafter receives 1% base chance to produce epic items.
Tier 4
- 0 to 400 crafting points can be earned.
- Reaching 100 CP unlocks Tier 5.
- Upon reaching 200 CP the crafter receives 4% base chance to produce rare items.
- Upon reaching 300 CP the crafter receives 2% base chance to produce legendary items.
- Upon reaching 400 CP the crafter receives 1% base chance to produce epic items.
Tier 5
- 0 to 400 crafting points can be earned.
- Upon reaching 200 CP the crafter receives 4% base chance to produce rare items.
- Upon reaching 300 CP the crafter receives 2% base chance to produce legendary items.
- Upon reaching 400 CP the crafter receives 1% base chance to produce epic items.
4. Crafting points,Tiers and Mastery of the Secondary Professions.
Basic Rules
- All supporting professions are evolving from 0 to 600 CP in the 5 Tiers.
- When you reach 100 points you unlock the next crafting tier.
- The recipes for resource processing are given to the hero as a gift. All he must do is to reach 100 CP in the precious tier and to level up his character.
Example: If you choose a Tanner as a supporting profession and you want to process Medium Leather, which is Tier 2 you should you have 100 points as a Tanner, Tier 1 and your character must be at least level 10.
- The Stonecutter receives points for processing 5 attribute stones in game: Opal, Agate, Topaz, Emerald, Moon Stone, in all the 5 Tiers, but in order to process the rare gemstones he must "unlock" the relevant crafting tiers which they require, as it follows:
- Sapphire - Tier 2
- Ruby - Tier 3
- Pearl - Tier 4
- Obsidian Crystal - Tier 5
Characteristics of the Secondary Professions.
- Upon reaching 200 points the crafters receive 4% base chance to earn 2 crafted materials from 1 raw material.
- Upon reaching 300 points the crafters receive 2% base chance to earn 3 crafted materials from 1 raw material.
- Upon reaching 400 points the crafters receive 1% base chance to earn 4 crafted materials from 1 raw material.
- Upon reaching 500 points the crafters receive 2% bonus to the critical hit chance when processing materials and after that - upon reaching 600 points - another 2%.
- The crafting tools for Jeweller and Tanner, which the hero equips, affect the critical hit chance when processing materials.
Characteristics of the Carpenter and the Miner.
- For each 100 CP in the relevant Tier the Carpenter and the Miner receive +1 to the max quantity of resources that they can earn.

Crafting Tools
There are 3 types of Crafting Tools:
• Common - White
• Rare - Blue
• Legendary - Yellow
• The common tools can be earned as a drop from the killed monsters.
They give bonus for critical hit chance according to the Crafting Tier, as it follows:
Tier 2: 2% - 4%
Tier 3: 4% - 6%
Tier 4: 6% - 8%
Tier 5: 8% - 10%
• The Rare and the Legendary tools give 30% and 50% additional bonus which is valid for all Crafting Tiers the player has unlocked.These tools can be purchased with diamonds from the Recipe Shops.
- It's important to know that the Rare and the Legendary tools have a durability for 50 attempts and they can not be repaired. They affect hides and gemstones processing, with 1 Durability taken for 1 Action Point spent in processing those resources. If you haven’t gained 200 CP in the respective Crafting Tier you will be able to equip Rare and Legendary Crafting Tools, but their Durability will not decrease until you gain 200+ CP.
Example:
When using a Legendary Crafting Tool (yellow), which gives +50% bonus and you have base chances for crafting Rare, Legendary and Epic items, the bonus crafting chances from the tool are distributed as follows:
No Tool Tool +50%
Rare 4 % 54 %
Legendary 2 % 27 %
Epic 1 % 13,5 %
- Critical Crafting Chance can be increased by activating the Crafters' Order, by building the respective structures in the Guild HQ and by using Crafting Sets (equipment).
Therefore...
• Tool Requirements:
- The tool must be the same Tier as Hero's Tier.
- Hero must have reached 200 Crafting Points in the corresponding Crafting Tier.
Carpenter's Tool:
- Increases the chance for gathering raw wood, but doesn't give additional bonus when processing raw wood into materials.
Miner's Tool:
- Increases the chance for gathering ores, but doesn't give additional bonus when smelting ores into ingots.
Note:
- If the current chance to gather a certain recourse is 50%, then with a Tool with + 50% bonus (for example), the chance will increase to 75%.
(50x1.5 = 75)
- If the current chance to gather a certain recourse is 10%, then with a Tool with + 30% bonus, the chance will increase to 13%.
(10x1.3 = 13)
*** Just a clarification: This chance doesn't apply for the quantity of resource you can gather .
Armorsmith's Hammer:
- Increases the critical hit chance for crafting rare, legendary and epic items.
- When processing hides, the critical hit chance is increased: x2, x3, x4.
Weaponsmith's Hammer:
- Increases the critical hit chance for crafting rare, legendary and epic items.
Jeweller's Kit:
- Increases the critical hit chance for crafting rare, legendary and epic items.
- When polishing gemstones, the critical hit chance is increased: x2, x3, x4.
Therefore Jeweller's Tool can be also used by Stonecutters.
