Is it normal to have minus gold?

I tried to sell something on auction, and although I had no gold, it took me a fee and now I have minus gold ???

You are in debt to the auctioneer. And rumour has it, terrible things happen to those, who don't cover their debts to the Imperial auction. Seriously though, I think it is normal to be on minus gold (however, Pol... someone in the Alpha managed to go on negative diamonds  ;))

When you work with the Auction agent, you can have a minus gold.
That means you are in debt.
