does precision skill have effect against high block or any block?

example.. i have 500 dex, and 80 str vs opponent 20 agi and 180 block, does precision have effect against such opponent?

Precision
Increases chance for successful attack.

So, your high dexterity increases your chance of successful attack + high chance of critical hit. Especially if your opponent has low agility.
Your str will decrease his block a little.

Precision will add more chance to hit him. But all are chances. His block could make you fail all hits. Or you could have a rare chance of make only critical hits on him.


So...final answer (in my point of view) is: yes, precision can have effect on any opponent.

i know that precision have effect on any opponent because of agility, but i want to know does it increase chance for hit over block..

The skill affects your hit chance and not the enemy Block chance.

I think it goes like this:
First the game calculates if you manage to perform a successful hit, then calculates if the enemy manage to block the hit (if successful).

So yes, you have higher chance to hit an enemy with high block... only because you will perform more "successful" hits (before the game calculate if it will be blocked or not).

I have the feeling that you've been a bit confused. Or I haven't understood exactly what you mean. Anyway.

There are two ways of avoiding incoming damage. Dodge and Block. When an enemy dodges your attack, your attack "misses". When your enemy blocks your attack, your attack "is blocked".

To calculate the chances of your attack to miss, you compare your dexterity with your enemy's agility.
To calculate the chances of your attack to be blocked, you compare your strength/10* with your enemy's block chance.
*strength/10 means that for every 10 points of strength you reduce your opponent's block chance by 1 point.

The game first checks if your attack hits (or is evaded) and then if it damages (or is blocked).

Your skill gives you a bonus to avoid missing. Nothing to do with block mechanics.
