Auction Bidding

I was waiting until the last possible moment to place a bid.  When there was less than a minute to go, the item was removed from the auction block and I lost it.  Did I just learn that you cannot place a bid with less than a minute to go?  or is it something else?  Please advise, thanks.

there is always a buy-out price that will get the item immediately. if someone bought it for the buy-out price...that would explain it

Seriously, they need to change the auction house up abit.. I hate clicking buy now, instead of next>> and paying 5 dimonds for 1 light skin..

Seriously, i'm going to try selling overpriced junk that way..lol
