GAME NOT WORKING

The game is running so slow no matter what computer I am on the game is so lagged I can't log on let alone use my action points.

Usually browser based games run smoothly even to very old pcs... The only thing that can slow down them is your internet connection. Perhaps your Internet is too slow, and your browser's setup stop the screen loading after a while or you have some virus issue (but since you said you used several pcs the first one is more possible.)
When I say your Internet connection is too slow, I don't mean only your actual connection speed, but the connection between you and the server's location. If the "line" is overloaded can slow you down, or even if a damage to one of the lines occurs...

I remember once when due to some Italian military exercises, they cut the connection line between Greece and Italy, cutting us, for two days, from the rest of the world... We were able to join only what was to Greek servers or we could wait half an hour to see pages from other locations due overload...

Off topic, but I can't help but comment on this. I will never forget how hard I loughed when we were told the reason of the problem! Of course, it never went public, but we were in our university computers lab at the time they got informed. Too bad, too bad. It would make so many people's day...

OK let me elaborate I have logged on with over 5 PCs new ones at that, on at least 4 different internet connections including coffee houses and librarys  I am in the states so I doubt our military is chopping up fiber optic cables.

It is not only the game but the forum as well that isn't loading right. I have tried clearing historys and caches I have preformed virus scans everything else I do is running fine on my internet except this game I play every day. I have to reload a page 5-6 times just to see the content, But what I am understanding no one else is having a problem playing on the beta server??

nothing is wrong on my end so what is it?

I personally play on beta realm too and I can confirm it runs as smooth as always.
As you said, it's not on your end, and since it works fine with us, it's not on the game's end either.
So obviously it's something in-between.

You mentioned you live in US. That's a potential reason. Since you're on the other side of the world, we connect to each other via satelite, not cable. It's not impossible for wireless connections to delay from time to time.

If you want to check this, try to access some other european site. If it lags too, that's your problem. If it doesn't, I guess you can wait for more experienced people to reply.

Well I am not more experienced... But I got some "tricks"....
To see your ping...assuming you have windows or access to ms-dos...
Click Start -> Run
Then write "ping 89.190.195.34 -t" and press enter
A Ms-Dos window will open you will be able to see
"pinging 89.190.195.34 with 32 bytes of data:"
And then several lines
Reply from 89.190.195.34: bytes=32 time=xx TTL=xx


Let it run until you get 10-20 lines and see your time.
If your average this is over 200ms then you have problems with your connection.



P.S. If you haven't mention about forum delay too, I would suggest a flash player's update...

as for European sites they run fine as well tried several European news site even logged back on Imperia Online for the first time in a year they all ran fine but Imperial Hero is still running like a drunk monkey threw Tar ( the forum as well )

Well since the problem is experienced only from you we can (but not with entire safety) assume that the issue is yours (by yours I mean PC/local connection/Virus/updates/annoying little brother messing with your pc...)
The only solution I can think now it's mambo-Jumbo... Stick a chicken foot to your nose (not deep until it is staying there) and then start dancing until it falls, wait until full moon and then go the rooftop and play piano... If you survive without jail/psychic institution or exorcism then you play the game even if it lags...

Edit: I will ask (Monday) at staff and see if they got any ideas...perhaps check your account from EU and see if it lags
