my hero use ambush skill. did he should use spirit everytime when he try to use ambush or only for succes critical hits? cause for now he use only for critical hits 8)

Yes, both retaliate and ambush take spirit only after the hero has attempted to use the skill AND succeeded to do a critical hit after that .
