The armor bearer (5/10)

For this quest I have to craft 5 EXCEPTIONAL gloves ; all my attempts result in regular gloves ; my crafting lvl is 102. What am I doing wrong ?

Each time you craft there is a chance to create a "special" item. Your attempts only prove that you weren't lucky enough... But there is a way to increase this chance. Buy a tool that will add you a bonus, try crafting at your guild's proper facility, if you have any crafting set (or piece of it) equip it (at your crafting doll not battle doll). And give to your crafting time by modifying the proper slide at crafting screen.
If you do some of these then you will have some Exceptional gloves at your inventory soon.

EDIT: Base chance is 8% and the game uses also the term Superb....

Don't give up, for the same quest it took me around 60 crafts to get 5 exceptional hehe, its all about luck,
and guild HQ gives crafting bonus (if upgraded) from T2 and above, while storylines crafting missions are T1, so all you can do is use the Diligence Multiplier, and hope for the best (crafting set only works when you have a legendary crafting tool )
