hiring guards

still more problems with hiring guards.
I finally found a good merc  in the falar province (see the img below) to hire as a guard,
for some reason I cannot hire him.
- I am the leader, so I should be able to hire guards to all groups.
- I have a skill point invested in City Guards Commander.
- I have assigned myself a group of guards.
- there is enough free space in all guards group.
- I have the needed Gold.

Can someone please check this issue?

You cannot hire guards from a foreign tavern into your own group.
You can only do that, if the group is in the HQ.

He is leader as I understand from his posts around August.


EDIT: Yes he is just confirmed (from the game statistics)...

I think I might found a possible reasoning for the situation. I am able to hire guards at any province except at falar.
The owner of falar province are the signature guild which we are in war with (greedy little guild), is it possible you cannot hire guards in a province owned by your enemies?
