Do NOT shop in Falar
« on: February 17, 2012, 12:09:38 PM »
If you go to the shops in Falar town, be prepared to be looted by the owners before they tax you when you buy anything there.
Beware, the owners of this province (Signature) are ruthless and don't want you to shop in their stores. Just to go there to be looted by their members!

Just to clarify, my main character is in nano guild which is at war with signature so he expects to be attacked there. My second character is NoEyedDeer, who is a member of (and Leader of) Happy_Cats guild, and went to Falar for the shopping experience advertised in the market forum. Before he got to spend any money in the shops he was looted by a Signature member so left and went shopping elsewhere. Thanks Signature for the wonderful shop you have! NOT!

NO, however, A guild can choose to impose such a rule, if they set their guards to stop ALL attacks. like has been done lately, to try and protect shoppers at Dark Tree Province

As to signature looting..., let me start by saying I am a bit biased due to my guild position with them (nano), but that is not new news, if you play a lot, just check the newsletter, you will see that (only my approximation and based upon NOTHING) about 90% of all looting are made by signature members, or their many double accounts and sub-guilds.

That is just a part of the game, we need to accept it, or improve and try to be stronger... as nasty as it is, that is how they choose to play - and as there is no limit to the amount of double accounts you can have, this will not change.

No such rule exist. EVEN if the province is fully civilized. In civilized province, for example, Castle owner guild members can attack and try to loot heroes in every zone of their territory, but city centre/s. Of coarse they can't be pronounced outlaws by their own guild.

If I set my guards to stop all looting, my own guild members, cannot attack anyone.
beside that, in my own province, our members are instructed not to loot other players... (in-case I change status of guards to guard guild members only)

Once more, this is a game, and each guild can choose the way they want to play within their own territory :)

Of coarse you can set your guards to stop all looting, aka your province become civilised one, BUT you can't order you guildmates to do so.. because they are humans not NPC :) As I wrote above, members of Castle Owning guild can attack other heroes everywhere, but city centre WHEN THE PROVINCE IS FULLY CIVILIZED. You can instruct.. or make a plea.. or whatever.. you are dealing with humans on this matter :) In short the game itself allows it.
