stupid noobi question time
« on: August 06, 2009, 10:29:37 AM »
first day playing this, i understand the need to test yourself and gain confidence in the game etc, but out of curiosity where are the game rules??? example there are blacked out areas at the beggining of the game, I assume this because i need to reach a certain level to unlock them?? where in the game does it tell me this and other gems i may like to know :-)

You can find most of stuff here in forum. you can learn a lot from reading "tips of the day".
Yes, black areas will reveal after you reach certain lvl. and after you reach lvl 10 you will have access to 3 new maps. in meanwhile you have Village of Hope and Imperal city(you will go there after lvl 5 to learn crafting skills)

Speaking about "tips of the day", well, maybe I should open a new topic on it  :-\,
anyway: did you noticed that they do not exsist on "premium" page? The "premium" link to the auction replaces them  :(
IMHO tips are more usefull then that link!  ???
pls DONT click positive on my Karma, coz I'm PROUD of its negativity, knowing the two worms that are feeding it! ^_^

cheers guys :-), how about someone in the know, an experienced player (lol I know its a relative term as the games pretty new) post an advice to begginers instructional/advice page, so the noobies amongst us can benefit from their vast experiance and not get frustrated right at the start :-)

There will be questions and answers with most often questions people wish to know. But for game guide which will say at that lvl fight at that location i am not so sure. Game isnt complicated and the beaty should be in discovering things, not that someone will make instructions which then 95% of players will follow.  :D

every other IO game has a simple begginers guide as to what to build and how things function, i understand the appeal of finding things out for yourself but a ickle nudge in the right direction is always a nice start, concidering every 'mistake' you make is an action point lost then to get started with a little advice without having to ask specific questions that someone may know if they are on line at that time and if theyre prepared to answer etc.....you see the point?

I know there is the guide at the beggining and that does help, either way the game looks great fun :-)

For that, there are tips of the day + questions and answers which will cover most of things new players whish to learn.  Game is still in beta so you must have a little patience.
