I'm an weponsmith carpenter and on all provionces i found the quest "craft x copper dagers" the reward is verry good but if i have to buy all the raw materialls i still end up with a loss.
So my question is why don't u puy somequest for bows javellins or something with wood?

this is no bug. items are random chosen from all recipes you know. ie i have to craft 6 swords with ruby, every is worth 18k and reward from quest is 2k. now when i will buy 6 rubies i will pay 90k. how can i continue story line? in this moment i dont

You can always use guild members help you for the resources or you can hunt down like crazy all the Heroes at dangerous provinces until they give you some...and then give it to your guild member to craft the raw material.

Does that seem like a good thing? Perhaps the programmers should take note of this and make changes? Just because that is the way it is doesn't mean it SHOULD be that way. Storylines and quests are supposed to be fun, not cause a financial burden.

If the storyline/quests required only the crafting of the items, but didn't take the item away (allowing you to sell it), then it wouldn't be so unfair.

I've been having problems with that too.   Also why is it I can find all kinds of dropped items and hides but when I go on quest it takes me many days just to find just 5 or 6?  I am doing simple leather armor quest and out of 50 battles I have found 4 hides.  that is ridiculous.  Especially when I battle normally without quests and get at least 1 out of 4 battles at the minimum.  Does ratios drop for quests?

I'm having these problems too... I put a hold on the Tier 2 Farolin story line because step 4/11 was very hard. Now I'm tier 3, I went back there and step 6/11 asked me to craft 5 Iron chainmail gloves, witch is tier 3 recipe...

If you're doing a tier 2 story line, it should only randomly choose between tier 2 recipes, not from any recipe you do have learned.. It's not fair it would ask some people a tier 1 recipe while for others ask a tier 3, 4 or even tier 5 recipe for the same quest...

Simple Leather Armor (Tier 1) requires Light Leathers (Tier 1), so you have to gather Light Hides(oh it's Tier 1 again). Your hero is Tier 2.. soon Tier 3.. When your Tier is higher than mobs' Tier, the chance to get a drop from them is really really low.. you don't even take good exp.. So you've got options:1 - You don't accept quests asking you to craft Simple Leather Armor (sorry, but the rewards such as Gold from those quests are equal to 15min max spent on a dungeon..), 2 - You have taken the quest, but you don't have materials to craft Simple Leather Armor - you buy hides from Auction House.. or ask your mates to help you out with hides.. I personally would go for option 1.

I am logged with your account at this very moment.

Your Quest book says:

" Quest 3 : Esquire of Farolin   Step 4/11
Story Line 4:

"Red Hand" in the Sovereign’s Pocket

‘Those... scum bags! Those... no good for anything, soulless, mead-drinking brawlers! They’ve got some nerves, I tell ya’, Holond’s superior attitude seems to be gone and it’s replaced by a raw of swears, which would make a marine captain jealous.
‘My lord was just returning from his much earned vacation in the Cottage, when he and his escort were assaulted by a Red Bandits! They stole all his precious jewels! They stripped him naked and made him walk! Walk! Only the Father knows what our beloved Sovereign has been through! And they even threatened him that if he doesn’t start building houses for the poor, next time they will rob his treasury! Such arrogance!... Make them pay, plebeian! And don’t you dare touching anything that belongs to our Lord Farolin, may he live forever!’

Task: Dispose of the Leader of Red Hand.

Reward:
Gold : 800
Diamonds : 20
Experience : 800

Mission progress    0 of 1 "

And I am now wondering, how you know what's your task at step 6, when you're still on step 4..?
