Ranger poison skill question

Does it worth to put skill points on the poison skill? Can u make decent poison damage?

it makes a little damage to your enemy in a round and thereafter for all following rounds...
small damage and you need to be lucky to poison your enemy in early round.

What do each of those do?



Can you double-wield throwing knives?
What about dagger and one-handed sword and javelin?

What's the best skills to upgrade if you're using throwing-knives?
Are throwing-knives better or bows?
