Story Line 1:
Wrong Place at the Wrong Time
As you enter the tavern, three very tough and very mean looking guys, stand up from their tables, crossing your path.
‘Well, well, well, look at the green horn we have here’, one of them speaks, making you wondering which is worse – his repulsive, teeth-absent mouth or the total lack of personal hygiene.
‘What you got there, young fella? A sword? Did your mama tell you not to play with toys you can’t handle? Here, let me relieve you from this unnecessary burden’, he says, as he reaches to grab your weapon.
You fist lands right in the middle of his disgusting mouth, sending him flying back across the tavern, breaking a table with his body.
The other two’s faces twist with rage, as they grab their blades, determined to finish you off.
‘Back off, guys’, a low voice can be heard from the bar plot, ‘Go finish your mead.’
A whole minute passes, but the thugs eventually move away, allowing you to get a good look at the voice’s owner. An oversized man, with a hook, replacing his right arm, distrustfully glancing at you.
‘I’m Darlin, “The Fat Sailor”. And you are a trouble. We don’t want troubles. We have enough on our shoulders. More than enough. So, I suggest you have your mead and walk away. Deal?’
After several minutes of staring, Darlin obviously accepts you won’t leave.
‘So, you are one those stubborn, mindless, hero wannabees. I like your kind. You have you uses. You want work? I’ll give you all the work in the world. More than you want!
