Generally on graphics

They say first opinion always matters right?
Well my first opinion is the graphics are kinda too "not serious" for an RPG.
Like all those green grasses around the hero avatar and around the screen. I dont know what they represent, but I didnt find them very attractive.

I do like the other graphics though.

whats not to like about them? its tasteful, i think gives the screen a...theme of sorts, and the details...little tidbits like the frog and potion and such are just cute (:

But this is a game. It shouldn't be uber serious. I don't think that skulls, cages, coffins, leper peasants would really suit this game.
Well personally I think these graphics are really well done. Well maybe that layer of leafs around hero's picture   could be thinner, because it somewhat obstruct that pic. But this is just a trifle.
