This realm will not get restarted - we have decided to keep the testing server running even after the beta launches. So the beta will launch a new world.

Yes, they are - you can actually see the Global map if you click on the Global map link up at the tab bar.

I am not so sure it will be a good idea to leave the alpha testing server (for me it wont be at least ) because of few reasons. As I understand the beta will include a lot more players, there will be more people to trade with on the market and there will be some bugs fixed and things altered.  I think many players from alpha would choose to play differently and do different things from beginning (choosing crafting instead of fighting for example). I think the beta will be completely different environment, and the opportunity to trade with many more players will give crafters better chances to sell their items and develop... in alpha there are few players and they find nice items so its harder for crafters to catch up to level where they can craft really nice items.

And if alpha players leave to play the beta...there will be even fewer players in alpha, will that be really useful for you for the testing purposes because this will not represent the real game ? It will take some of the competitiveness and the alpha server and make it less popular perhaps, at least that is how I see it. I will certainly prefer to play in the better even if it means I lose a higher level character, I was already used to that idea. I think the advantages offered by beta will be worth that sacrifice ;)

I'm with Isolde... It would be nice to keep a high level character, but I may make other choices and my guildmates and I may not want to maintain this guild indefinitely. Also, if new players are allowed on the Alpha server, there would be a 15 levels difference between 1st generation and 2nd generation players, which would be quite the anomaly.

I say, just let us into the beta. Oh, and give us some diamonds ;)

Xaoc said when the beta will be released, a new world with start. Alpha and beta will be two different worlds. I guess they want to keep alpha going so they can find bugs that can be corrected before people in beta will reach them. But I hope they don't expect too many players to keep playing on alpha. Admins will play there probably :)

give us diamonds then. When i enter the shop and half of the items says "pay in diamonds!" its iritating :) what is more when i'm rangere there should be items only for ranger.... i don't need wooden staf or armor for warior.... In shop we need some variety of goods not 2 crossbows in 5 shops :/

This server will continue working as a testing server... no one is required to stay in it - however all new stuff will be launched here prior to launch on the official servers, so only few people would see something is wrong rather than 10 000 or something :). It is really not that much of a news - we just decided there is no point killing this server in order to launch the new one.

And, yes the Beta will present quite a different challenge for everyone, because the amount of people will be much, much greater and most of them will be more casual players, whose style will completely different from the very active players of the Alpha.. so will be interesting. (just think how many pages of stuff there will be in the auction house..)

i think its good thinking to open new world from beginning. we may not found all bugs early and now can be founded. i will try to stay on alpha and play on beta on much accounts as i can. is lot things which should be check and lot which would be improved but my knowledge about this game isnt good as i want. and yes its ours choice to play on server alpha or beta, but lot of us say its to few AP and i think we can play still on alpha and play on beta too. i hope you understand my point of view cause my english is not good 8)
