May be your chances to get more stones increased?

I went today to dig stones in a place that promised me that MORE LIKELY I will find something... well i spent 6 AP without getting at least 1 stone... Now I am wondering: is it only my bad luck or it is something wrong with the jeweler/stonecutter profession? Wasting AP to dig some stones, crafting after this items that give so little increase in skills, that nobody is buying them... :-[ ,,, is it really worth to do?

Same here, Numpty. Tier 2 crafted gems are exactly the same as Tier 1 crafted gems. They even stack up.

partially only - in tier 2 carpenter you can process ash wood and tier 2 miner can make bronze and tin ingots. Does a stonecutter tier 2 have ANY different recipes ?

It looks like NO new stones to craft... May be in this case we don't need Tier 2 as stonecutter at all? You can develop only jeweler profession and it is enough?

Stone-cutter process the same stones for all Tiers as they are needed for recipes in all the Tiers.
New stones for processing will emerge in the next crafting Tiers.

Can you, at least, increase a bit chances to find stones in dependence of number of CP?

Why?
They are the same for all Crafting Tiers.
%s chances will increase in the upper Tiers.
If we increase them now, this will imbalance the profession.

But professions are already unbalanced... Or you call balance that I spent today 10 AP in row without getting at least 1 stone in the place where stones are MORE LIKELY? I cannot call this balance... I don't believe it is just bad luck...

definitely its not fair. miners have much easier status. why? cause one bar cost is same as common price of crafted gem. gem, which take much time work to make, with much lesser occurence. and they have undepletable province for mining. that cant be called fair. while before I sold tier 2 ring. sapphire ring, for 2400 minus comission. sapphire cost 20t in market. other goods cost was almost 2t. maybe its better to sell sapphire, but I want CP... I think something is wrong here.

If you are crafting to increase your CP level, don't craft with expensive gems, that's a waste. Make rings that use cheap metals and common stones. I am a tanner and I would be silly to craft 'gloves of the owl' using a ruby each time trying to increase my crafting points. That being said, I understand your frustration. Leathers are more valuable than most of the boots and gloves that I can make so when I have surplus leathers - I sell them and make a great profit. As for the cost of the bars you use - that is a function of the open market and cannot be controlled by the game designers. If there were more bars available on the market, then the price would come down and you would see miners crying on the boards.
I suggest that you increase your crafting experience using cheaper materials, and when you get to the point were you are crafting a lot of rare/legendary/epic items, then start using the valuable gems because then you can really sell those sapphire rings for a great profit.
