He's a bit frustrated about his armorer/miner having to craft leather based armors for storyline quests probably. I pointed out (as a suggestion on the respective forum) that would make sense for the game to "read" the second profession as well (i.e. getting the quest to crafting metal based armors as a miner and leather based armors as a tanner etc.) but my idea got dismissed. On the other hand given the price of ore and ingots I don't think getting the leather you need should be a problem :)

I understand.. Though I really wish people to be specific when posting a question/bug.  *UNDECIDED*

Anyway.
The system recognizes your first profession only. This is how it's supposed to be.
It randomly chooses a recipe from your recipe book, so it's not always a "Simple Leather Armor" - well depends on how many recipes you have learned (excluding the Single Use Recipes and those with gems).

Did anything change with this?

I currently changed my profession and I have 3 ongoing storyline quests. I know I will have some crafting quests, will they be for the old profession?

Or maybe the system checks my profession when I will accept one crafting mission?

You shouldn't have done that. The tasks of the Storyline quests will be for your previous profession .

Should I post this in suggestions? Cause the system really should be able to recognize when a player changes proffesions...

In my case, I started the storylines although I know I will not complete them for some months maybe (because of various reasons). And now I had to change the proffesion for a better/faster development of my guild. It wasn't really a choice, it is what I had to do for the guild (cause I don't play alone)....Basicly this was the situation. And probably in this situation are many players put. Allowing proffesions to change without personal loss should improve the guild members relationships.

I think the game itself should be made more agile and generate the crafting tasks from storyline quests on the base of what the player's profession currently is. E.g, if step 8 is "Craft ... or collect ...", then  the system should "generate" the task on the base of player's statistics when he hits the Finish button on step 7.

Due to a small misunderstanding between me and our awesome programmers,.. my bad. *pardon*
So! Before reaching the step where you must collect/craft anything, you can change your profession, system does recognize it.
But once you are on that step, and you change your profession, the task remains for the one which you have accepted the step with.

My apologies for confusing you as well.  *rose*
