Quake was equal to evolution in its age, being the first true-3D rendering game that ever existed, created by the mastermind called John Carmack (the guy created the first 3D rendering graphics engine, light enough to run on an Amiga, and he didn't even study Programming).

Although newcomer did not confirm my answer, since I'm sure that's Quake, here's the next game.

Hint No1: There was at least one game mentioned in this topic so far that was developed and/or published by the same company.

Using the hint no.2  :-X

I manage to find it... It is Crystal Caves... and here a copy from wikipedia...

"On October 24, 2005, 3D Realms (formerly Apogee) released a maintenance patch to fix a bug  in the game which set the player's computer's clock backwards 100 years after playing on Windows XP. As the game was released 14 years and one day earlier, 3D Realms may now hold the record  for longest time between an initial game release and a maintenance patch"

Omg and 3 lol...

I guess i have to find a screen-shot...

So here it is...
