And where do I get the Items I need from

nope ... you need raw ressources first, that you get refined, then you can craft an item.
if you look at your recipes, you'll see what ressources you'll need

For Tier 1 recipes are granted for free. and you can use a recipe as many times as you need... what profession did you chose? Some secondary professions as miner, carpenter and stonecutter requires some digging, but Tanner can use light hides dropped in battles

you have recipes tier 1 from beginning, when you chose profession.  go to crafting menu and you will see it

If you have chosen to be an armorsmith, you can make armor, gloves, boots, belts, caps, etc.

You can make them from copper ingots and from leather. You already have all the recipes you need for tier 1.

Go to your crafting menu and in tier 1 you will see, each item also tells you how much of resources it requires.
