I think my merc is gone

I bought a staff for my merc and when I start the storyline quest (step 10) there isnt the option to add the merc to the fight, and in the Hero screen, there isnt a tab there for my mercs (I have 2), and a 'load failed' msg appeared in a small red window in the lower right of the screen.      :o

It sounds like the website didn't load properly for you. I suggest that you clear the cache for your browser and try to load the site again. I would also suggest trying the site with a different browser - just to eliminate any doubt. If the problem is still there, then report back here and one of the higher-level mods can investigate this for you.
